EQUIPPING MEN. STRENGTHENING MARRIAGES.

Love your wife
the way God
intended.

You became a husband on your wedding day but fulfilling that role as God designed takes longer. It is a journey of a lifetime.

THE BACKSTORY

A personal testimony of God’sTruth.

For the first sixteen years of my marriage, I struggled to be the kind of husband I ought to have been because I did not fully understand my role.

I tried hard, at least I thought I did, I provided for my family but I was never truly committed to them. I showed up but was never fully present. Something was missing. It was a gradual build-up of unresolved things, and over time it created a drift away from the very place I wanted to be. The more I tried, the more tired I became.

I blamed everything and everyone.

If only my wife were more supportive. If only work was less stressful. If only I had more time. If only I had more money. The list went on. The one person I did not blame was myself. How could I.

Then, at what felt like the lowest point, God stepped in. Through my wife's prayers, the honesty of a close friend and good mentors, I began to see something I had never seen clearly before. The truth about what it means to love a wife the way God intended. Not the version shaped by culture or good intentions, but the kind of love that can only come from Christ.

This is my testimony, and I pray that God will use it to save one more marriage, like He saved mine.
